As a company, TimeTECH firmly believes in the importance of giving back to the community we live in. From donations, sponsorships and charity events TimeTECH has been an active member of its community.
Over the past several years, TimeTECH has been honoured to sponsor various sporting teams around the local Peel district. For the past 2 years, TimeTECH has been a proud sponsor of the Brampton Spitfires Peewee hockey team, where TimeTECH’s very own Mat Hall and Mark Patte are the active Head Coach and Defensive Trainer, respectively.
Over the long weekend, the Brampton Spitfires participated in the Three Rivers Cup Tournament in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, facing off against 6 teams from around the United States. The Spitfires were 2-0-1 going into the finals, but after the first period were trailing 2-0. Under the great leadership of Mat and Mark, the team was able to come back from behind with 2 quick goals in the last 2 minutes of the game to defeat their opponents. With a final score of 3-2, the Spitfires would win gold and finish off the tournament with a perfect record.
TimeTECH would like to congratulate the Brampton Spitfires as well as Mat and Mark on becoming the 2011 Three Rivers Cup Champions! As the end of the regular season is fast approaching, we wish them all of the best throughout the playoffs!
